Nikolina Pesut
Nina was born in the former Yugoslavia where she completed her tertiary education with a Diploma of Classical Philology, focused on mythological texts dating back to antiquity.
She moved to Sydney, where she stayed briefly before travelling again, living in Holland, London, Madrid and New Zealand for six years.
When she returned to Sydney, Nina enrolled into the Advanced Diploma of Fine Arts at the Sydney Gallery School where she won first prize in painting upon her graduation.
Nina furthered her education at the UNSW College of Fine Arts (COFA) and completed her Fine Arts degree, graduating in Painting and Drawing. While at COFA Nina showed and outstanding academic performance and was included on the Dean’s list as well as being awarded the prize for best painting in her generation.
She has continued to exhibit in shows, and her work hangs in private collections including those of her lecturers.
In addition to her own work, Nina is available for commissioned projects.
